The name Rainbow Pottery comes from Naatsiilid (Not See Lid) the Navajo word for rainbow. Each piece of Rainbow Pottery is unique. The artist will paint whatever color combinations feel right or appeal to them at the moment. Therefore it is important to note that what-you-see is not-what-you-get. The piece you purchase will not match the one shown but will be equally beautiful. You may specify a general color request in the comments on your order.
